Shanghai Sanqiang was invited to participate the summit organized by Unilever group on "Modular Design & Construction" from 20-21th March, 2014.

Unilever conducted a two day workshop in Mumbai, India, from March 20 - 21, 2014 on “Modular Design, Engineering & Construction” for Process Plants to provide an awareness among Unilever. All the decision makers in Unilever Engineering group participated in this summit, as well as all the key global suppliers.  Alessandro Orlando (general manager) and Alex Wei (technical manager) from Shanghai Sanqiang were deeply honored to be invited to this precious occasion.

 

Unilever is a FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Global Company with business interest in Home Care liquids & Powders, Personal Care, Foods & Refreshment, Beverages & Ice Cream, Spreads & Savoury, etc. As a step change in the way, Unilever is looking to modularize all of its new green field & brown field projects across the globe (USA, UK, Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, etc.).

 

The intent of the summit is to explore possible opportunities for “Modular Designs & Construction” for Unilever Global projects. The General Manager of Shanghai Sanqiang Alessandro Orlando brought to Unilever the presentation “Constructability in Modular Plant – Integration of construction knowledge into design and project delivery” which created an impressing feedback among the audience. The speech lasted for one and half hour and was highly approved by Unilever project directors.

 

We always believe that modularization is the new frontier in the construction industry and Sanqiang is able to offer the best engineering service to the customers who wants to use this new method.
